Kelsey Poaha
Executive Director
Prior to HI Class Dental, Kelsey was instrumental in building a successful dental assisting program that trained students throughout the State of Hawai`i for over 15 years. Her experience in dental administration and instruction also provided students with key office operational skills.
Kelsey received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of Hawai`i at Manoa, her Associate of Science degree in Respiratory Therapy from Kapiolani Community College, and her Associate of Art degree in Liberal Arts from Leeward Community College.
In addition to being a Doula assisting women through their labor, Kelsey is also a certified CPR/First Aid instructor with American Heart Association and holds a certificate as a CNA.
Active in her community, Kelsey serves as both board member and officer for many community based nonprofits such as the Pearl City Community Association, the Pearl City Neighborhood Board, The Friends of the Pearl City Library, and the Manana Association.
Kelsey is also an active member with the Chamber of Commerce Hawai`i, and the Japanese Community Association of Hawai’i on the Big Island.
As a proud homeschooling mom, she appreciates the blessings of being able to inspire and build good foundations while bonding with her two boys.
Kelsey enjoys connecting with people, has a deep passion for helping young aspiring professionals accomplish their goals and offers great encouragement as a wonderful role model to many students.
